While living in Los Angeles, lying in bed one night, I wondered if it was possible to drive from LA to Alaska. I opened Google Maps and found it was absolutely possible to drive to The Last Frontier. Instantly it was decided; that would be my next big trip. I was working at a bar at the time and had the pleasure of taking off summers to travel. After a stint in Europe I really wanted to stay domestic and explore my own country. I didn't have the best vehicle for the task, but on July 1st, 2015, I got into my 2001 Saab 95 and headed north. The journey lasted two months and I took my time visiting places along the way in California, Oregon, Washington, British Colombia, The Yukon, and Alaska.
